get a moped (and a guide if you're not feeling confident) and make your way out to the abandoned water park. it's like something out of a post apocalyptic fever dream.
they won't let you in the front door anymore but there's a back door in where the guard is more than happy to take a bung of a couple of quid.

Viatour do a great day trip to the jungle where the war was fought , it’s a bit like a living museum with bomb craters , tunnels and you can fire an AK47 (for a price)
Mini bus picks you up , hour or so on a boat , guided tour of the war area , lunch and boat back , about 30 quid from memory .
Night clubs/bars etc are in the area locally known as backpacker street but oddly enough the pricing is well off , you can go to one bar and buy a beer for 50p , go next door and it’s £2.50. All bars have menus outside so just look before you go in.
Was there March last year.
